AMBA Elections 2022, Wed., June 29 @ 8PM EST.
Here’s How to Run:
Build a slate for 4 AMBA members indicated candidates for President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer to run collectively for office.
At least half of each slate must be women and at least half must identify as minority Muslim (e.g., Shi’a, Sufi, ect…).
Email boardchair@ambalegal.org to request a petition to enter your slate on the official ballot by June 15, 2022.
Each slate will present their reason for running during the election meeting. No prior leadership in AMBA is required.
Get involved by running for Executive Committee or voicing your interest about serving as Chair or Vice Chair of one of our 6 committees:
Advocacy; Policy; Education; Mentorship; Legal Resources; Federal Judiciary
The elected President is tasked with filling these 14 seats every year, and creating others as he/she sees fit.
